AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STATE LAND USE BOUNDARIES MAP, H-25 FOR
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM
THE AGRICULTURAL TO THE RURAL DISTRICT AT OULI, SOUTH KOHALA,
HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 6-2-7:3.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII;
SECTION 1. The State Land Use Boundaries Map, H-25 for the County of Hawaii, is
amended to change the district classification of property described hereinafter as follows:
The district classification of the following area situated at Ouli, South Kohala,
Hawaii, shall be Rural:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of this parcel of land, being also the
Northwesterly comer of Lot 2-A of this subdivision and being a point on the Southerly
side of Kawaihae Road (F.A.P. NO. N.R.H. 11-C), the coordinates of said point of
beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "PUU PA" being
12,797.73 feet North and 7,739.56 feet West and running by azimuths measured
clockwise from True South:
Thence, for the next four (4) courses following along Lot 2-A of this subdivision
and along the remainder of Royal Patent 2237, Land Commission Award 8518-B,
Apana 1 to James Young Kanehoa:
1. 337° 44' 10" 70.00 feet along Lot 2 of Kamuela Plantation, Unit
1 (File Plan 1716} to a point;
2. 67° 44' 10" 169.36 feet along the remainder of Lot 3 of
Kamuela Plantation, Unit 1 (File Plan 1716)
to a point;
3. 311 ° 02' 287.21 feet along the remainders of Lots 3 and 2 of
Kamuela Plantation, Unit 1 (File Plan 171 b)
to a point;
4. 326° 00' 190.00 feet along the remainder of Lot 2 of
Kamuela Plantation, Unit 1 (File Plan 1716)
to a point;
Thence, following along the middle of Keanuiomano Stream and along
Government Land (State of Hawaii), the
direct azimuth and distance being:
5. 24° 35' S5" 421.85 feet to a point;
Thence, for the next four (4) courses following along Lot 4 of Kamuela
Plantation, Unit 1 (File Plan 1716) and along the remainder of Royal Patent 2237,
Land Commission Award 8518-B, Apana 1 to James Young Kanehoa:
6. 145° 47' S0" 715.00 feet to a point;
7. 235° 47' S0" 249.01 feet to a point;
8. 247° 44' 10" 193.77 feet to a point;
9. 157° 44' 10" 50.00 feet to a point;
10. 247° 44' 10" 20.00 feet along the Southerly side of Kawaihae
Road (F.A.P. NO. N.R.H. 11-C) to the point
of beginning and containing an area of 5.000
Acres, More or Less.
All as shown on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and by reference
made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
