Matsukawa, Attorney At Law, dated February 3, 1996, representing his clients, John Kailiwai and his daughter, Debralee Kailiwai-Ray, regarding an ongoing dispute over the ownership, management and participation of the above parcel of land. Mr. Matsukawa is investigating why the County accepted the subdivision application of F. Newell Bohnett and/or his representatives and/or corporation, Puu Lani Ranch, before completing an exchange and without notice to or consent of his clients or their predecessors. The said application was filed in 1990. Requests a response. Comm. 1021: REQUEST FOR ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY LAUKAPU INDUSTRIAL CENTER ORDINANCE NO 94-5 SECTION G I From Kenneth S. Tanouye, General Partner, Tanouye Family Partners, dated February 16, 1996, requesting assistance in obtaining the issuance of certificate of occupancy while awaiting the process of dedicating the off-site improvements to the County on the above matter. The Laukapu Industrial Center will be offering new rental units to small business owners but until he receives his occupancy certificate, some of his tenants cannot begin improvements to their area. CONVENTZ RELATING TO SETBACK AND OPEN SPACE REGULATIONS From Councilman Keola Childs, dated November 17, 1995, transmitting the above communication for discussion. Comm. 846.01: From Chief Engineer Donna Fay K. Kiyosaki, dated January 25, 1996, stating in response to a request for comments on Comm. 846, that discrepancies among the various codes, as listed, will be addressed when the Zoning Code is revised. Much of the "confusion" is caused by the Housing Code because there are instances when it governs over the Zoning Code.
