Comm. 441: APPOINTMENT OF VICTOR B JENSEN TO THE BOARD OF APPEAL
From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated May 25, 1995,
submitting for confirmation the following to the Board
of Appeals:
Victor B. Jensen, a Democrat, from Kamuela to
replace Robert S. Tamaye of Hamakua, who
resigned on May 11, 1995 due to personal
reasons. Mr. Jensen is a dentist associated
with several dental practices and also manages
his own commercial real estate holdings.
If approved, Mr. Jensen will serve the balance
of the unexpired term which will end on
December 31, 1997.

Comm. 450: APPOINTMENT OF LYALL M. KUMA TO THE
KAILUA VILLAGE DESIGN COMMIS ION
From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated May 25, 1995,
submitting for confirmation the following nomination
to the Kailua Village Design Commission:
Lyall M. Kuma of Kona, to replace Angel Pilaqo,
who resigned in April 1995, due to professional
and personal obligations. Ms. Kuma is
secretary to the Hawaii Visitors Bureau.
If approved, Ms. Kuma will serve the balance of
the unexpired term, which ends December 31,
1997.
Comm. 442: STATE LAND DISPOSITION - REQUEST FOR ACCESS BY COUNTY
DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLv - MAKILOA NORTH KOHALA
From Glenn Y. Taguchi, Hawaii District Land Agent,
State Department of Land and Natural Resources, dated
May 23, 1995, regarding the County Department of Water
Supply's request to construct a reservoir, pipeline and
access road on State lands for access from Akoni Pule
Highway located at Makiloa, North Kohala (TMK:
3rd/5-9-03:04). The area is LUC-zoned Agriculture and
County-zoned Unplanned/AG-20x.
