State Department of Land and Natural Resources, dated
March 31, 1995, regarding Mid-Pacific Hawaii Fishery,
Inc.'s request to lease 30,276 sq. ft. located at
General Lyman Field, Waiakea, Hilo (TMK:
3rd/2-1-12:41), for a fish wholesaling business.
Present encumbrance is Revocable Permit with

Comm. 201: ORDINANCE BILL AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 7,
(Bill 44) SECTION 2-33, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983,
AS AMENDED. RELATING TO ZONING REGULATIONS
From Councilman Brian De Lima, dated January 26, 1995,
transmitting the above bill which amends Section 2-33
(c) to provide that the County general plan or zoning
ordinance shall supersede any conflicting provision
contained in a redevelopment plan adopted by the Hawaii
Redevelopment Agency.

(Bill 225) KONA DISTRICTS ZONE MAP), ARTICLE 3, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING

DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM AGRICULTURAL (A-20a) TO
AGRICULTURAL (A-la), (A-3a), (A-200a), (A-255a) AND
(A-8000a) AT KEALAKEKUA, KILOA, WAIPUNAULA, KALAMA
KUMU, AND KALAMAKOWALI, SOUTH KONA (APPROXIMATELY

district classification from Agricultural-twenty acre

Districts. The project site, formerly Kealakekua Ranch
Lands, consists of approximately 11,184 acres, situated
between the 2,200 and 6,000 foot elevation, (mauka)
east of Captain Cook, mauka of the intersection of Koa
Road and Hawaii Belt Road, Kealakekua, South Kona.
Comm. 287.11: From J. A. (Tony) Hanley, President, Hawaii Island
Chamber of Commerce, dated March 23, 1995, informing of
their support of Bill 225 (Kealakekua Development
Corp.'s rezoning request).
