APPLICANT: KEALAKEKUA DEVELOPMENT ORPORATION
From Planning Commission Chairman Donald L. Manalili,
dated March 17, 1994, submitting a bill to change the
district classification from Agricultural-twenty acre
(A-20a) to Agricultural-one acre (A-la)
[787.589 acres], Agricultural-three acre (A-3a)
[1,836.537 acres], Agricultual-two hundred acre
(A-200a) [200 acres], Agricultural-two hundred fifty-
five acre (A-255a)[255 acres], and Agricultural eight
thousand eight hundred acre (A-8000a)
[8,106.309 acres] Districts. The project site,
formerly Kealakekua Ranch Lands, consists of
approximately 11,184 acres, situated between the 2,200
and 6,000 foot elevation, (mauka) east of Captain
Cook, mauka of the intersection of Koa Road and Hawaii
Belt Road, Kealakekua, South Kona.
