FC Rept. 164: Recommends to close file on
(C-806) Communication No. 806; the communication is to
be sent to full Council without a
recommendation for an approval or denial; also
a request to review this issue again will be
submitted to Richard Wurdeman, Corporation
Counsel (Claim for surplus money from a real
property tam sale by Kyugo Tanaka, Yuzaburo
Tanaka and Tsuyoshi Tanaka);

FC Rept. 165: Recommends that the Council accept the thirty
(C-813) shares of Wang Laboratories, Inc.'s new common
stock; that a letter of appreciation be sent to
Joseph M. Tucci, Chairman of the Board and
Chief Executive Officer, Wang
Laboratories, Inc., One Industrial Avenue,
Lowell, MA 01851.
FC Rept. 166: Recommends approval of the donation of a part
(C-815) ridgeback/pitbull from Officer David Carter,
Vice Section, Kona Police Station, to be
assigned to the Kona Vice Section as a narcotic
canine; requests that a representative from the
Police Department be in attendance when the
Council considers Comm. 815 as the new
Committee members had several concerns and
questions on the donation which need to be
addressed.
FC Rept. 167: Recommends the filing of Communication 818,
(C-818) subject to the notification of Mr. Hachmeister
of P.O. Box 10267, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, by
letter, informing him of Council's decision to
recommend to the Secretary of the Interior that
a memorial or a monument be constructed in
Mr. Huntzinger's honor.
FC Rept. 168: Recommends the approval of the purchase request
(C-839) for three new vehicles (one for Public Works
and two for Parks & Recreation) with the use of
the 1992-1993 funds upon cancellation of the
initial contract.

FC Rept. 171: Recommends approval of the appointment of
(C-849) Mr. William M. Friel, Jr. to the Hawaii County
Police Commission to serve as a member until
December 31, 1998.
FC Rept. 172: Recommends the acceptance of the Range Top for
(C-856) the Papaaloa Gym from the Laupahoehoe PISA;
that a letter of appreciation be mailed to the
Laupahoehoe PTSA for their generous donation.
HSPWC Rept. 100: Finds the conveyance of the road and drainage
(C-875) for the Kiwi Street Extension,
Grantor: James C. Oppenheim,
Subdivision No. 89-154, Honokohau 2,
North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-4-07:05, is proper;
recommends acceptance of the dedication deed by
the Council and its subsequent recordation with
the Bureau of Conveyances.
