Bruce Elliott, District Engineer, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District, from Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated August 8, 1994, expressing the County of Hawaii's willingness and capability as the local sponsoring agency to provide the local cooperation required for the construction of the Ali'i Drive Shoreline Protection Project. The local cooperation requirements are subject to the provisions of the Project Cooperation Agreement under which the County agrees to, as listed. Comm. 1299: PLACEMENT OF KUKUIPAHU ON THE HAWAII REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES AND NOMINATION OF THE PROPERTY FOR PLACEMENT ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES From Richard Paglinawan, Chairperson, Hawaii Historic Places Review Hoard, State Department of Land and Natural Resources, dated September 2, 1994, informing that the board, at its April 16, 1994 meeting, made a decision to place Kukuipahu (TMK: 5-6-06:75) on the Hawaii Register of Historic Places and recommended that the State Historic Preservation Officer nominate the property for placement on the National Register of Historic Places. Comm. 1298: ZONING VIOLATIONS (Res. 279) From Planning Director Virginia Goldstein, dated August 29, 1994, transmitting a resolution asking Corporation Counsel to immediately commence action or proceedings, as stated, on the listed subject properties which, upon receiving complaints, subsequent investigations were conducted and determined that illegal land use is being conducted on the properties.
