RE: Resolution for amulti-year lease.
Resolution Appropriation Transfer ($17,220.00)
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Hawaii County Council to enter into amulti-year lease
for two (2) years for office space for the Kona Office, which will be located at the Kailua Trade
Center, 75-5706 Hanama Place, Suite 109, Kailua-Kona.
Also enclosed is a resolution authorizing the transfer of $17,220.00 from the Clerk-Council S VC
OCE -Misc. Contract Services (Audits) account to Clerk-Council SVC OCE - Rent of Land-
Building-Office account. These monies represent the full payment of lease rent for November
and December and the difference in the lease rent for the Lenders Document Office from
Januazy 2005 through June 2005.
The Hawaii County Council-Kona Office wishes to relocate to another facility in an effort to be
centrally-located in Kailua Village and to be closer in proximity to the Kona Services Center.
Since we are currently negotiating the specific terms of the lease, a copy of the lease should be
forwarded in time for the Council meeting.
