RE: Resolution for amulti-year lease.
Resolution Appropriation Transfer ($8,400.00)
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Hawaii County Council to enter into amulti-year lease
for four (4) years for office space for a Waimea Office, which will be located at the Holomua
Center, 64-1067 Mamalahoa Highway, Waimea.
Also enclosed is a resolution authorizing the transfer of $8,400.00 from the Clerk-Council SVC
OCE -Misc. Contract Services (Audits) account to Clerk-Council SVC OCE - Rent of Land-
Building-Office account. These monies represent the lease rent for the Holomua Center from
December 2004 through June 2005 (7 months @ $1,185.60 per month).
The Hawaii County Council wishes to open a Waimea Office to better serve that community.
Since we are currently negotiating the specific terms of the lease, a copy of the lease may be
available in time for the Council meeting.
