Re: Police Fleet Implementation Working Group
Resolution 224-04, adopted by the Hawaii County Council on September 1, 2004, requests
the Mayor or his designee to convene a Police Fleet Implementation Working Group. This
working group shall prepare an implementation plan and identify all costs associated with the
purchase, operation and maintenance of a completely and /or partially county-owned police
fleet. The plan is to be presented to the County Council not later than January 2, 2006.
According to the Resolution, this Working Group shall include two community members
appointed by the County Council. No later than Tuesday, November 30, please submit to me
the names of the two community members designated to represent the County Council on this
Working Group.
