It is my pleasure to submit for your confirmation the reappointment of Lincoln S. 1. Ashida as
County of Hawaii Corporation Counsel pursuant to the Charter of the County of Hawaii.
Mr. Ashida has served as Corporation Counsel since 2000. Prior to assuming this position, he
served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Hawaii. In that position he has
had extensive trial experience. His resume is attached for your information.
Mr. Ashida will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on
December 1, 2008.
