Re: Capital Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Capital Budget by appropriating an
additional $53,000 to the Repairs to Facilities Capital Improvement project. District 6
Councilmember Bob Jacobson has generously assigned discretionary fund monies to
assist in implementing much needed repairs and improvements at the Pahala
Swimming Pool. The additional funds bring the total appropriation to $857,000.

Recreation.

A. REQUEST:
To amend Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended, relating to Public Improvements and
Financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005 by increasing the
appropriation for 110-599-5599.55-115 Repairs to Facilities from $804,000 to
$857,000.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
District 6 Councilmember Bob Jacobson has generously assigned $53,000 in

} lawai"i, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is
denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on its future agenda.
