Subject: HSAC General Membership Meeting -June 27, 1997
The following highlights of the HSAC General Membership Meeting of June 27, 1997 are
herewith submitted.
• Election of HSAC Officers for fiscal year 1997-98 was deferred pending approval of the slate
of officers by Maui County. Current HSAC Officers will remain in office until new officers
are elected.
• HSAC Budget For Fiscal Yeaz 1997-98 was adopted.
• Nominees to the NACo Boazd Of Directors For Fiscal Year 1997-98 are:
NACo Board Member Ronald Kouchi, HSAC Second Vice President
Minority At-Large Member Dennis Nakamura, HSAC First Vice President
• Nominee to the WIR Boazd Of Directors For Fiscal Year 1997-98 is Rene Mansho, HSAC
President.
• The next meeting of the General Membership will be at the HSAC Mid-year Conference
which will be hosted by the City and County of Honolulu and is being planned for December
10-12, l 997 on Oahu.
