Members of the County Council _ Hawaii County Council -3 25 Aupuni Street v Hilo, Hawaii 96720 Re: Capital Budget Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Capital Budget by appropriating an additional $1,500,000 to the West Hawaii and Puna Transit Facilities project. At the Council meeting held on November 24, 2004, the County Council passed Bill No. 348 on 2nd and final reading for a general obligation bond issuance totaling $47,000,000. Of that total amount, $1,500,000 was to be apportioned for four (4) park and ride facilities at Hamakua, South Kona, North Kona, and Puna. The additional funding brings the total appropriation for this project to $1,980,000. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Mass Transit Agency.
