From Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 7, 2004, requesting the Council's favorable
recommendation of the above reappointment. Mr. McClure has served as the
Director of Public Works from December 2002 to the present. Prior to then, he was
employed by the Department of Water Supply of the County of Hawaii from 1998 to
2002. Prom 1984 to 1990, he served as the Deputy Chief Engineer for the County of
Hawaii, and from 1990 to 1993, was the County's Chief Engineer. He has also
worked for the State Ucpartncnt of'1'ransportation. If confirmed, Mr. McClure will
serve a term co-terminus with the Mayor, which will end on December 1, 2008.
