I'm sorry I could not strand this marniag's ceremony. Our school has always arjoyed a very positive relationship with the County and we sincerely appreciate t>ae support. Recently we have been working with the Plawning Department to involve our students with the "Envision Downtown Hilo 2025" project. We feel fortunate to live in a community that is willing to listen to the ideas of children in defining a vision for the litture. On June 3, 2003 Connections signed a SeWement, Release and Indemnification Agreement with the Department of Education. Our school was represexited by Mr. David Frankel in our dispute. Mr. Frsnlcel worked diligently for a year and a half to address our issues. The final outcome was a tn"bute to Mr. Frankel's excellent research skills and professional negotiating abilities. I would like to highly recommend Mr. Frankel for the Legislative Auditor position. The County of Hawaii is indeed fortunate to have a candidate of such high caliber willing to serve in this vital position.
