SUBJECT: DRAFT ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF THE HAWAFI COUNTY~_,
CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION) RELATING TO REFUSE FEE SCHEDULE:
GREENWASTE TIP FEE
Forwarded for your review and consideration is a draft ordinance relating to the County refuse fee
schedule.
Approval of this amendment will allow for more accuracy in charging for costs incurred by the Solid
Waste Division in providing necessary services to divert organics from our landfills.
The Environmental Management Commission, at its November 17, 2004 meeting, unanimously
recommended approval of this ordinance.
