EXPLANATION (Provide complete explanation):
There aze sufficient funds in this S&W account, net of this transfer, for fiscal yeaz needs due to vacant
positions.
This transfer is needed as a supplement to Transfer #7, dated 11/5/04 for $140,336. The explanafion for that
transfer was as follows: "Funds aze to be used to supplement funds for the design and environmental
assessment phase of the Pahoa Fire Station project. This project is included in CIP Ordinance No. 03-90, and
funds totalling $150,000 appropriated in account 010.931.5934.78.115. However, the amount budgeted was
insufficient for this phase of the project."
The additional $7,000.00 is needed to complete the process of a zoning change by "special permit" for the
new Pahoa Fire Station which was not originally anticipated
