Chairs Homan and Pilago, and Members:
I will be unable to attend today's meeting due to recuperntion from my hip
surgery. I wanted to support the mayor's Comm. 15, regarding the reappointment of Mr.
Chris Yuen as I)vector of Planning. Although Mr. Yuen and I had some disag'eements
in years past. during the two years that I have served on the coune~, I can say it has been
a real pleasure working with him I think he has been exIremely fair and balanced on
issues of use o£our precioas lands, and I am pleased to offer my support for his
reappoirtttttenl.
