Aloha, Councilmen:
Though I have definite issues with this draft of the General Plan, I believe
it is CRUCIAL to pass it immediately and then work out any changes that
might need to be made. It is essentially BY FAR --the most
comprehensive, well-thought out document which includes a tremendous amount
of public time and input. Draft 2 does not come close to this type of
inclusion and should be tossed in the waste bin so as not to waste more
precious land use planning time.
Please do not delay in passage of Draft 1. Then we can work all together to
make any necessary changes and insure that the General Plan becomes the
blueprint for a bright island future.
