Re: Solid Waste Section of the Proposed County General Plan

Please consider modifying the proposed Country General Plan in the azea of Solid Waste
Management to emphasize the new technologies that aze becoming available for the
conversion of solid waste to useful materials of benefit to the people of the country and to
the tinances of the county.
In particulaz, as described in the May 2003 and the July 2004 issue of Discover Magazine,
there is a process called Depolymerization which can convert ANY organic waste,
including rubber tires, turkey offal, green waste and ANY plastic into refinable oil, as
well as recovery of useful metals, and other minerals.
Such a processing plant is in the final stages of being brought on-line at the turkey
processing plant of'fhe Butterball 'T'urkey plant in Carthage, Missouri by the Changing
World Technologies Company.
