Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 7, reports as follows:
Bill No. 7, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 27, dated
December 6, 2004, amends Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending
.Tune 30, 2005, by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS:
Palani Road Improvements 110-399-5396.91 $400,000
(Mamalahoa to Queen Ka`ahumanu)
Funds for these projects shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $400,000
Fund Balance and/or other Sources.
Funds will be used for the resurfacing of Palani Road (Mamalahoa to Queen Ka`ahumanu) roadway.
The present condition of the roadway with numerous potholes makes it unsafe to travel.
Your Committee did not entertain further discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 7 and recommends it
pass first reading.
