Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. ] 0, reports as follows:
Bill No. 10, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 22-04 by Director of Finance William Takaba, via
Communication No. 33, dated December 6, 2004, amends Ordinance No. 04-74, as amended, the
Operating Budget, ending .Tune 30, 2005. The amendment is as follows:

The State of Hawaii Department of Health, Disability and Communication Access Board has authorized
funding towards the County of Hawai`i's Disabled Persons Parking Placard Program.
In 2004, the State Legislature appropriated funds to compensate the County of Hawaii and the other
three counties for issuing parking placards under the Statewide Program on Parking for Persons with
Disabilities. As a result, the State of Hawaii Department of Health -Disability and Communication
Access Board is providing the County of Hawaii with its share of the total amount released by the State
Administration. These funds are being used for the County's Disabled Persons Parking Placard
Program.
Your Committee did not entertain further discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 10 and recommends it
pass first reading.
