SUBJECT: Resolution to Transfer/Appropriate Council Contingency Funds
Attached for your consideration please find a resolution to transfer/appropriate $372.70 from the
Clerk-Council SVC Contingency Relief Fund [Account 010.10 LS L01.91.341 ] to Training &
Volunteer Fire OCE Public Safety Supplies [Account 010.221.5226.02.231] to fund the
purchase of a tarpaulin to protect the fire truck at the Naalehu Volunteer Fire Department.

SUBJECT: Request to Waive Resolution Relating to Transferring/Appropriating Council
Contingency Funds
At the request of Councilmember Bob Jacobson, I request that a resolution to
transfer/appropriate Council contingency funds be waived from my Committee on Finance for
consideration by the full Council at its next scheduled meeting.
Pursuant to Section 1(g) of Rule 4 of the Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii, I
request your approval to waive this matter and to place it on the next Council agenda for review.
However, in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall
be referred to the Committee on Finance for placement on its future agenda.
