SUBJECT: DRAFT ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPRER l4, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
(1995 EDITION), BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE TO PROVIDE ENHANCED PUBLIC NOTICE OF
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
Forwarded for your review and consideration is a draft ordinance relating to enhanced public notice of proposed
developments.
Approval of this amendment would require developers to post signs notifying the public of proposed
development of the property.
This requirement would be in addition to the present requirement to provide legal notice in the newspaper.
