It now goes to <br /> the <br /> full Council far voting, as I understand it there will two more <br /> opportunities for public input. The next Council Meeting is scheduled <br /> for <br /> January 21s'. The official agenda will not be available until late <br /> next <br /> week, but I assume discussion of the General Plan will be on it. I will <br /> let <br /> you know. <br /> I have had several community members mention that they really couldn't <br /> make <br /> much sense out of the General Plan and wanted to comment on it but <br /> didn't <br /> feel as if they understood it. <br /> I have to admit that Draft 1 of the General Plan on the County's web <br /> site <br /> is <br /> confusing. It is the "red lined" copy which contains both the old plan <br /> and <br /> the changes that make up the new plan. <br /> In order to make Draft 1 of the General Plan easier to understand, I <br /> have <br /> taken the liberty to put together a summary specific to Hamakua. This <br /> summary includes a brief synopsis for each of the categories listed in <br /> the <br /> General Plan. I have included more detailed information on the items <br /> most Comm.
