Comm. 850: REOUEST FOR ASSESSMENT OF KONA INDOOR VOLLEYBALL FACILITIES
(2002-2004) From Jim Dorr, Hawaiian Touch Youth Volleyball Program Coach, dated
November 7, 2004, on behalf of their volleyball program in Kona. Concerned over
lack of gymnasium time accessible to them over the past three years. Requests equal
opportunity to use the Kailua-Kona community and local high school gymnasiums to
hold practices, leagues and tournaments.
Comm. 54: REQUEST TO REVIEW UNFINISHED MATTF,RS FOR HOUSEKEEPING
PURPOSES
From Public Safety and Parks Recreation Committee Chair Stacy K. Higa, dated
December 22, 2004, submitting the following list of previous term bills, resolutions
and communications which have become outdated or obsolete, for reasons stated:
Res. 232-95, Draft 2 (Comm. 834)(1995), relates to cemetery plot fees; Bill 304,
Draft 2 (Comm. 1290)(1996), relates to parking, camping and hours of operation;
Bill 123 (Comm. 425)(1999), relating to applications for cemeteries; Bill 213
(Comm. 679)(2000), relating to alcoholic beverages on County property;
Comm. 1062 (1998), relating to the transfer of lifeguard services from Parks &
Recreation to the Fire Department; and Comms. 434 through 434.7 (1999), relating to
the removal of trees at Lili`oukalani Park.
