The extra funds will be used in calendar year 2005 to support and improve the tourism product development initiatives and projects. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the additional funds into the Product Development Program account and bringing the total grant appropriation to $525,000. These funds are available to you to support those projects which help to improve your tourism product offerings. We will be drafting up a contract for your consideration that details the program's objectives and criteria. All or portions of these funds maybe sub-contracted to other organizations as needed.
