Re: Capital Budget Amendment
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Capital Budget by
adding the following projects:
Puna Emergency Access Road $927,349
Alii Drive Shoreline Protection 97,000
These are projects that have lapsed and need to be reappropriated.

RE: ATTACHED COMMUNICATION
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regards to BILL No. 118 ~r
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 97-82, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY
1, 1997 TO JUNE 30, 1998, waiving said referral from the Committee on Finance in order that
appropriate action can betaken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such waiver be granted.
