Aloha Councilpersons:
This rule, introduced by Mr. Jacobson, seems a "no-brainer". If
passed, this law would help better inform communities of potential
changes in their neighborhoods. It is reasonable, fair,
democratic, and overdue to allow those who do not read the
newspaper or who are less knowledgeable about the planning process
to give them an opportunity to better involve themselves in
planning for their future.
I look forward to seeing this bill passed by your committee as
well as the full council.
