Aloha,
I am writing to urge the council to approve more stringent penalties and fines for individuals who do
not control their animals. My girlfriend and I live in Donald Ikeda's District, and there is a large
problem with stray animals and the feral cat population. We have done all that we personally can in
terms of getting the animals to the animal shelter in Kea'au, and we hope that the Council will
approve this measure in order to ease the problem on the Island.
