Re: Resolution for multi-year leases
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year
for two (2) copiers for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Kona and Waimea
offices. Their Kona office is in need of a second copier as it would greatly improve
workflow and efficiency. Their Waimea office currently does not have one and must use
the Police Department's copier located in a building across the street.

Attorney.

To enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5) years for one (1) copy machine for the Kona office.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Kona office is in need of a second copier. This would greatly improve workflow and efficiency. The
multi-function features of network printing and faxing will further enhance productivity.

The Waimea Office currently is staffed by one deputy prosecuting attorney. There is no copier so the DPA
uses the Police copier which is located in a different building across the street. We are requesting an
average volume copier which provides adequate features to enhance productivity.
