RE: Amendment to Ordinance No. 95-82 Relating to the
Issuance of General Obligation Bonds.
Attached is a bill amending Ordinance No. 95-82, as
amended, relating to the issuance of general obligation
bonds. The proposed bill further amends the ordinance
which authorized the issuance of $30,000,000 in 1996 by
including the projects incorporated in Ordinance No. 97-82
for allotment from the proceeds of the issue.

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County
of Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regazd to Bill No. 399" amending
Ordinance No. 95-82 relating to the issuance of general obligations bonds, waiving said
referral from the Committee on Finance in order that appropriate and timely action can
be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be
granted.
