Dear Honorable Chairman and members of the Cout?ty Council:
My name is Matt Hceflinger. I am the Chairman of the Conservation and Political
Action Cou~mittee for Pig Hunters Of Hawau. As such T am Speaking on behalf of our
members. After reading Hawaii County Bill 4, we have numerous objections to the
language used in this draft. Further more we feel the fees proposed put a heavy burden on
those of us that use dogs to hoot. These dogs are working animals not pets similar to a
ranchers horses being working animals not pets- We ask that you hold public hearings on
this Bill amend the Island at times when the average person will be able to attend.
