Re: t3iU 4 Draft 3 relating to animals -Section 4-i2 Fees
Our dub, Yig Nunters of Nawaii, would IiKe to taKe this opportunity to voice our
concerns regarding the above mentioned bill. We ful raising the dog liunae fee
to the rates suggested is not only unfair but also unjust. Many of the hunters in
our dub raise and care for ten or more hunting doge and choose not to stcriliu
certain dogs in order to Kup some of the more desired hunting bloodlines going.
To some, hunting may be just a sport but to us it is our culture and lifestyle that
helps to Keep food on the table for our families. This rate increase will surely
cause a hardship not only to hunters but to many other citiuna of our
community as well.
We ful that a Public Nearing should be held to give concerned citiuna, such as
the vig Nunters of Nawaii, the chanu to present their ideas, opinions and
concerns regarding this matter.
ThanKing you in advance for your consideration and prompt attention to this
request.
