RESOLUTION NO. 54 U5
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHERAS, the County of Hawaii, by adoption on August 18, 2004 of Ordinance No. 04-93,
approved the issuance of general obligation bonds series A and B to fund repayments of loans
taken for a water system improvement district, Improvement District 18-Kona C`oastview and
Kona Wonderview Subdivisions, North Kona, Hawaii, for four million two hundred ninety-six
thousand four hundred dollars ($4,296,400); and
WHEREAS, a miscalculation occurred when three condominium units were counted on a lot
where only two such units actually exist; and
WHEREAS, the total assessments were calculated on 437 lots, the recalculation of units means
an increase in assessments over the remaining 436 lots or the County needs to pay the $9,694.50
assessment: and
WHEREAS, it would he more fair and expeditious to have the County absorb the cost of the
miscalculation;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FUR'I'I-IER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and instructed
to forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance be
and is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
