This is the kind of thing that makes me crazy! I have been bitten while
walking here in WaikoLoa Village. I was never afraid before, but since then
1 have hardly walked and need to. T took my fresh wound to the Waimea
facility, but that animal was never dealt with or taken otf the street.
A]so, we have an ac acquaintance who was ~?auled and could have been
killed. "C his has got to stop!! Why is it almost impossible to get something
done abour this?
My wiFe and I have also suffered two to four hours of barking dog next door
in the MIDDLP; o` the niyht. The _s not only anima] abuse, but people abuse,
too'
We need to stop messing around with this issue and put the bite on animal
owners who have little or no regard for animals ar.d heman beings.
I don't have a problem with people owning dog or cats!! it is the ones who
allow them to roam and In the case of dogs, bark, and enforcers who do not
enforce!! Fixing the law won't help until it gets inforced

The two dogs that ki LLed Char-lie were running through the neighborhood again
yesterday! "Phey ran through Debbie's yard and chased her cats away then they
came up the hill and chased coy cats out o£ the yard. I got two pictures of
them. One of my neighbors chased them out of his yard so they ran back
over the hill '_o Debbie's yard on Pu'u Nui. I saw them going up and down
Pu'u Nui running through al] of the yards of neighbors with cats. I went to
help Debbie try to catce the~o. but they had already moved Chrough the green-
belt '_o the next street. Debbie's son called the police and filed a report.
Josie, since it was Sunday ] didn't know who Lo call. Animal issues are not
a 9-5 weekday job. Can you implement an emergency number or stand-by person
£or issues like this? It has been a month since they killed Charlie and they
are sti~l running loose! I can't believe nothing has been done about this.
