When [heard that my colleague, Dr Cliff Kopp had been recommended to serve on the
Hawaii County Police Fleet Implementation Cotmittee, I wanted to write a letter of
support.
I know Dt. Kopp mainly through our relationship as fellow dentists. His expertise and
clinical skills are exceptionah his advanced training and education places him at the top
of his profession. He has helped hundreds of patients in the Kona area with difficult
dental problems that general dentists may not have the training or experience to handle. t
lmow from my conversations with him that he is very interested in making our
community a safer and better place to live in. Fie has been involved with the Rotary Cluh
of Kona and The West Hawaii Crime Stoppers.
1 speak as a resident for over 25 years in the Kona area, antl as a father of 2 children, l2
and 14, who were born and raised here. We need a strong and effective police department
that supports our values and lifestyle. Dr. Kopp is concerned enough to share his time to
enter the communication processes ,like the Police Fleet Implementation Committee,
that are necessary to bring solutions to our Police Fleet issues.
He is a hard worker and a natural problem solver. The residents of the County of Sfawaii
need Cliff Kopp on the Police fleet Implementation committee, if he could assume a
larger role as Chairman, so much the better
