Re: Operating Budget
In FY 1996-97 the County of Hawaii received a $65,000 grant from Child
Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) to select a coordinator to
develop an overall plan to address the development of resources for young
children and their families by stimulating public and private interest.
The County of Hawaii has again received an additional $60,000 for FY
1997-98 to development a collaborative community plan for child care in
Hawaii County.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to appropriate the $60,000.
