Re: Operating Budget
At the February 28, 2005 County Council Committee on Finance, Bill 40, which
appropriated the General Fund's Fund Balance, was amended to Draft 3 to include
$12,500 for the Ho`oko Road Sidewalk Improvement in Waikoloa.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this
$12,500 to the North and South Kohala Road OCE account within the Highway Fund.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works.

020.301.5301.32.115 N & S Kohala Rd OCE 12,500
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
At the February 28, 2005, County Council Committee on Finance, Bill 40 was amended to include
$12,500 for the Ho'oko Road Sidewalk Improvement in Waikoloa. We are requesting these funds be
appropriated in the Highway Fund.
