CALL TO ORDER STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON COMM. 152 Comm. 152: NOMINATION OF W[LLiAM J. SANBORN TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT COMMISSION. From Mayor Harry Kim, dated March 3, 2005, requesting the Council's approval of the appointment of the above-named individual to the County of Hawaii Environmental Management Commission. Mr. Sanborn (Council District 9), a lifetime resident of Hawaii, is currently a Mortgage Banker with the Homestreet Bank. A member of the Republican party, if confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2009, replacing Mr. Riley Smith, whose term expired on December 31, 2004. From Environmental Management Department Director Barbara Bell, dated February 17, 2005, requesting to be placed on the Environmental Management Committee Agenda in order to make the above presentations.
