Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year
for one (1) copier for the Hawaii County Police Department's Area I Operations Section.
Their current copier is constantly being repaired which causes many non-operational
periods and the acquisition of a copier with current copier technology will allow the staff
to increase their productivity and allow them to keep up with the increasing demands.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Hawaii County Police
Department.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5) years for a copy machine for Area I Operations
Section.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Minolta copier currently in use is constantly being repaired which causes many non-operational periods.
The Police Department would like to obtain a lease for a copier for Area I Operations Section. The current
copier technology has more features and options that will allow the staff to increase their productivity. This
expanded capability will allow the Department to keep up with the increasing demands.
