Fax: (eoa) 935-as2a E-mail: hibr®hibr.com The Hawaii Island Board of Realtors has been working on the revisions to the general plan alongside your county employees from the beginning. We sponsored the refreshments at most of the early workshops and public hearings that traveled around the island. We have President testified, we have met with the planning director and the mayor. We have testified before Adele Eggel, R,CRS,GRI the planning commission. President-Elect Georgia "Gee" Callaway, R,GRI We believe we need a plan, we encourage planning in the counseling we do with our buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants. But it needs to be a good plan without bandaids. Vice President Mary Begier, R,CRS There is a viscious rumor going around that this council has said they are going to pass the general plan so they can say they did within the first so many days of this councils Secretary existence. I find that hard to believe. I have had the opportunity to work with many of you in Edith Crabb, R,CRS,GRI different arenas and know you to be thoughtful, intelligent people who really care about our Treasurer community so I think whoever started that rumor owes you an apology.
