Dear Councilman Hoffmann
i am writing to express my hope tkat the Cotntcit will sec fit to pass a resolution
requiring Hawaiian Super Ferry to prepare an EIS before any decisions are made to go
forwud with their plea.. We all know the problems that the failure to foresee and plan
for the changes brought by development on this island have caused, it is easy to blame
those who failed bt dte past; it is irresponsible to continue to make the same mistakes.
Please make every e$ott to have in place the information needed for good planning and
then use it to make informed decisions and to be stue you have ail the arrangements and
resources in place to take e:rre of foreseeable problems.
