From Police Chief Lawrence K. Mahuna, dated January 5, 2005. transmitting the
above report of missions conducted on December 22, 2004 in West Hawai' i and
December 23, 2004 in East Hawaii, pursuant to Res. 46-O1. The reports indicate the
number of plants eradicated. There were no complaints received during this mission.

bill.
The purpose of this measure is to amend Chapter 4, ny adding definitions,
increasing licensing and impound fees, increasing penalties, establishing
minimum fines, establishing method of resolution for first offense of
violations prior to the court date, modify duration and time of day of
restrictions regarding noisy dogs, and permitting an animal care center to
contract with the county to provide services for animal control and care.

Comm. 22.1: From Legislative Auditor David Kimo Frankel, dated December 17, 2004, transmitting
(Bill 4) proposed Draft 2 to Bill 4. Draft 2 amends Bill 4, Draft 1, by adding definitions,
(Draft 2) clarifying minimum tines, and exempting licensed hunting dogs from leash
requirements when actively engaged in lawful hunting, making technical corrections to
Draft 1.
Comm. 22.2: From Councilmember Bob Jacobson, dated ,lanuary 20. 2005, transmitting proposed
(Bill 4) Draft 3 to Bill 4. Draft 3 makes technical corrections to Draft 2.
