GRANTS FROM NONPROFIT AGENCIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006
Prom Human Services and Economic Development Committee (HSE?DC) Chair
Fred C. Holschuh, M.D., apprising Councilmembers, nonprolil agencies and the
public of the upcoming grant review process, and delineating the role of the 1 ISF?DC
Chair, Vice-Chair and support staff in evaluating the applications. Cites Hawaii
County Code §2-139, which governs the procedure and Hawaii Revised
Statutes X92-2.5, which governs the method in which the Council can gather
information. Also describes the current and historic procedure for receiving grant
applications, and describes the outcome of the recommendations of the previous
fiscal year.
