Comm. 5.2: PROGRESS KEPORT ON COMPLIANCE WITH RESOLUTION 224-04, NAMING
MEMBERS OF THE POLICE FLEET' IMPLEMENTATION WORKING GROUP
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated January 8, 2005, reporting that the lbllowing
individuals will be serving on the working group: Dwayne Miyashiro, Chairman
(Mayor's designee). Deputy Police Chief Harry Kubojiri (Police Department
representative), John Stewart (SHOPO representative), Bill Gray (Finance Purchasing
representative), Randy Riley (Public Works. Automotive Division representative).
Pudding Lassiter (Police Commission representative), Roberta [ lole (Mayor's
community member). I~fugh Clark (Council's community member), Brandon Gonzales
(Corporation Counsel representative) and Ron'fakahashi (Civil Service
Representative). States they are waiting for the second community member to be
appointed by the Council, and that they will begin the task soon, with clerical support
being provided by the Clerical Center. Also states he looks forward to submitting the
report from the group next year.

February 16, 2005, requesting the Council's concurrence with the above
recommendation. A six-year resident of Hawaii, Mr. Kopp is currently in private
dental practice as a pro~ftl~odontist in Kailua-Kona. He also serves as a member of the
Rotary Club and as Vice-President of the West Fl~cu~w"~iai Crime Stoppers, Inc.
