Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bil] No. 47, reports as follows:
Bill No. 47. transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 143.
dated March 2, 2005, amends Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended, the capital budget, ending
June 30, 2005, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Waikoloa - Ho`oko Street Park 1 10-599-5594.51 $200,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $200,000
Fund Balance and/or other Sources
these funds are required to enable power to be supplied to the park to provide both functional
and security lighting for the new pavilion, restrooms and parking lot that were in the original
contracted scope of work.
Pursuant to section 10-6(d), Hawai'i County Charter, the council may amend the capital budget
for that year with atwo-thirds vote.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 47 and
recommends it pass first reading.
