Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 59-05, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 59-05, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication
No. 147, dated March 2, 2005, converts a Recreation Technician II (3/4 T) position into a
Recreation Technician III full time.
Presently, there is no weekend coverage at this district's only County gymnasium. This
conversion will allow increased staffing at the Kailua Park Complex. More recreational
activities can be offered during the evenings and on weekends.
Funds are available in the recreation division regular salaries and wages account
(010-500-5507.01-0 l 1).
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 59-OS
and recommends its adoption.
