Enclosed for your consideration is the proposed HSAC FY 2005-2006 Annual Budget. I
am requesting that this matter be waived from the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations
Committee in order to meet the deadline requested in the attached memorandum from the HSAC
Treasurer.

KE: Request. to Waive Consideration of HSAC Executive Committee Item Relating to HSAC FY
2005-2006 Annual Budget
Pursuant to Section 1(g) of Rule 4 of the Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii, 1 request
your support for waiver of this matter from my Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental
Relations for consideration and approval by the full Council at its next scheduled meeting on April 20,
2005.
Enclosed is a memorandum dated April 1, 2005 from James K. Tokioka, HSAC Treasurer, requesting
our Council's consideration of the proposed HSAC FY 2005-2006 Annual Budget. Action requested:
Approve the HSAC FY 2005-2006 Annual Budget.
Action to amend the HSAC FY 2005-2006 Annual Budget is recommended by the HSAC Treasurer by
April 15, 2005. [t is therefore advantageous that approval is granted for this matter to be placed onto the
next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I
understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental
Relations for placement on its future agenda.
